Tiny Tip #7: Volunteer!
“No one can do everything, but everyone can do something.”
There are numerous studies showing that volunteering gives you a wide range of benefits– from feelings of connection, self worth and fulfillment to increased job opportunities. A few benefits that might surprise you are below:
- Volunteering time makes you feel like you have more time.
- Volunteering your skills helps you develop new skills.
- Volunteering leads to better health.

If you are interested in helping out with the refugee situation, there is a need for:
-volunteers to teach English
-volunteers to teach Greek
-yoga instructor volunteers to teach yoga at the camps and shelters (many locations)
-volunteers to do street outreach
-warehouse sorters, and much much more.
