Tell us your first three jobs (ever!):
My First Job:
My first job was working alongside my siblings delivering newspapers when I was 4 years old. I was the 8th of the 9 children born into my family, so our family’s paper routes extended all over Douglas, Island. We were fairly poor, but everyone in our social circle was at that time. Delivering papers was a way in which we were able to have money to buy our own bikes and candy. Once we turned 13, we bought our own clothes and started to save for our educations.
My Second Job:
Delivering papers continued into my teens. I was busy with school, so I stopped delivering the papers, but I managed my younger sibling. I was in charge of financial transactions with the 100 or so customers. During the summer months, I picked, packed and sold blueberries, babysat and did odd jobs for our elderly neighbors.
My Third Job:
At the age of 13, I started a job in a beauty salon and continued there for 2 1/2 years. I cleaned, ran errands, washed our customer’s hair, made appointments and handled all the financial transactions. I loved this job because the hair stylists treated me so nicely and were constantly wanting to do my hair.
Zodiac sign: Leo

What do you love about Greece? I took my first solo trip to Greece when I was in my early 20’s. I had a rail pass that allowed me to ride the ferry system from island to island. I loved the warmth, sun, warm water and the food.
I felt very safe traveling in Greece. I met a lot of wonderful fellow travelers.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you: I am passionate about all forms of the arts, that part is well know. The part that I have held more personally and close to my heart is how the ego affects creativity. I’m just started to make that more of a focus in my writing and business. Here is the most recent article I posted titled “Are the Arts Essential?”
Where we are most likely to find you in Lynn’s community? I am also passionate about the Enneagram and that is how I have found Lynn. You are most likely to meet me in one of her retreats!
First time you tried Kundalini Yoga ? I am brand new to Kundalini Yoga. Lynn is currently my teacher. I’m enjoying her generous free content online!
Tell us your top tip to combat climate change:
To live simply, mindfully and at a slower pace. The other day, my 16 year old daughter had a whole production going on in the bathroom. She had converted our bathroom into a clothes washing laundry facility. With the laptop open and propped up on the toilet seat, she was watching YouTube videos on how to use organic home methods for removing the stains. I loved that she was navigating all that on her own. She knew, as I did at her age, that to just go out and get a new t-shirt was going to cost not only money, but her life’s energy. She wanted to take care of the things that she already owned, verses going out and buying something else.
