What do you love about Greece? I visited Greece in 2013 and fell in love with many aspects. The food was exceptional. We did not have one bad meal, and everything was utterly delicious. My favourite places were Apollo’s temple and Meteora. I saw both in one day and as I stood looking over Meteora at sunset I actually said, ‘I can’t take any more beauty!’ The West coast was also remarkable!

Tell us something most people don’t know about you: I love watching accounts of people’s near death experiences. I don’t think there is a better or more genuine way to understand what this life is all about. I love hearing about the universe from ordinary, everyday people who have had a direct experience of crossing over.

First time you tried Kundalini Yoga? I have only been to one Kundalini Yoga class. It was in Brisbane, Australia in 2016.

Tell us your top tip to combat climate change: I guess my top tip would be to remember you ARE the earth. Anything you do to it you are doing to yourself.

Anything else you’d like us to know?:  Many years ago I decided to combine my great loves of music, psychology, the Enneagram, and spirituality, and to create albums that incorporated all of these elements.

My first album is nine songs, each one written from the perspective of one of the nine Enneagram types, taking the listener from the difficulties of experiencing life through each lens to the freedom experienced when we enter the higher mental & emotional energies.

When I fell in love with the poetry of Rumi in my late twenties, I felt driven to write music inspired by his words. My latest album incorporates nine of my favourite Rumi poems that I feel describe the core journey of each of the nine Enneagram points. I wrote music and lyrics based on these poems and my own personal experience moving through all of these energies.

The album concludes with a tenth song based on the Sufi story of the Lover realising that he/she IS the Beloved, reminding us all that we already are what we’re seeking. My music can be found via all digital music platforms and you can read more about me at www.bernadettegalea.com and www.essentialnature.dk
