Name: Pieter Polhuijs

From: I was born in Hillegom, a small town close to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, but I moved to Argentina when I was young and lived there until I was 18.
Occupation: Leadership trainer. I offer leadership coaching with an emphasis on the Enneagram, and I organize team buildings where Lynn and other trainers bring the Enneagram to the corporate world.
First three jobs (ever!): At 13 years old I worked distributing butane gas cylinders on a Vespa and installing them in houses and apartments. At the time this was what people used for cooking at home. My next job, a year later, was as a wood sander for doors! And then at 15, I got a job herding cows (literally herding cows). All of these jobs were in Argentina, where I spent most of my youth.

What do you love about Greece? I love the warmth of the Greek people, the genuine Greek hospitality. Of course I also enjoy the food and the natural beauty of the country.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you: I took singing lessons for four years when I was 22 years old. I love singing. 🙂
Where are we most likely to find you in the Lynn’s Kundalini Yoga community? I help organize a lot of the Enneagram trainings Lynn does internationally so you are most likely to see me with her offsite in a foreign land.
What was the first time you tried Kundalini Yoga? When Lynn offered it at a Swedish offsite earlier this month.
What is your top tip to combat climate change? Consider solar energy for your home!
Anything else you’d like us to know? I’m really passionate about bringing the Enneagram into big corporations. I spent my career working with Philips, Unilever and several other multinational companies and in those environments I really saw the importance of successful team work and communication. The Enneagram is an amazing tool to bring better collaboration into the corporate world while cultivating compassion at the same time. I feel lucky to be at a point in my life where I can focus my energy and experience on giving back, and I do that by spreading knowledge of the Enneagram.
