Name: Gina Moon Curly
Lives in: Currently in Tampa, Florida. I’ll be in Koukaki in June.
From: I grew up in the cozy streets of 80s Glyfada. I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
Occupation: Ah the ol’ job question….. Answering this has been the bane of my existence; and you’re about to find out why!
Six months after graduating from law school I decided why not get involved in tech. So I co-created a health app called “Heathster” and lived out my fascination with health and wellness for a few years. Until, I discovered that maybe writing was more suitable to my mood swings and compulsion for self- expression. I self-published a few books on hobbies and creative forms of meditation and also discovered a particularity delightful inclination for writing children’s books.
Fast forward a few months, I soon again, discovered that writing for pleasure was not going to pay the bills, so I also became a certified Coach.
As a faithful servant to words, drama, and performance, I am currently coaching self-expression through comedy. I like to think of myself as a “humor advocate” as it has miraculously provided me with a way to process anger and pain that was previously out of reach. You can find me on Instagram @funnygirlrehab_
Thanks for coming to my Tedtalk.

What do you love about Greece: I love the chaos, but I must confess that it is a love/hate relationship. The antidote to that, is the pine trees and the ever-present water. I once referred to Athens as a beauty queen who’s been sleeping with her makeup on for the past 50 years; she’s definitely pretty, but she’s also a hot mess.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you: Gina isn’t my “given” name; but it is the name I’ve given myself.
Where we are most likely to find you in Lynn’s Kundalini Yoga: I’ve become more of an early bird, so probably during a day class. But you will find me living in her Koukaki apartment called Little Sugar.
The first time you tried Kundalini Yoga? The 1st time was at a studio in Florida. I was the youngest student in the class, but felt like my arms were going to fall off.
Tell us your top tip to combat climate change: Well, I believe that real change starts from within — So, I would suggest we ask ourselves in what ways do we feel separate from Earth? And then examine how that has been playing out in our actions.
