Tony Manhart

Name: Tony Manhart

Lives in: Woodbridge, Virginia (United States)

From: My background is colorful. I was born in Singapore, but my family moved to America and my younger sister was born there. I had my nursery, primary and secondary school years in San Francisco, California.

Job: I am a founder and editor-in-chief at Gardening Dream. I am interested in things related to growing plants, and I spend a lot of my time writing tips and tricks on a variety of subjects related to plant cultivation and soil maintenance. I have always been passionate about gardening, and my father was a landscaper–so he inspired me a lot! strives to help every gardener, beginner to expert, to improve.  But don’t take my word for it–come visit the site!

Tell us your first three jobs (ever!): My first job was dog walking, my second job was a fast-food job. This company, the Burger Factor, was great to work for—still haven’t found a burger or fried apple pie as good as theirs. And then I moved into gardening and guest blogging.

Zodiac sign: Scorpio

What do you love about Greece? I have been to Athens once in December of 2015 and really love the food! I have also been to Ammouliani for a kayaking trip (it is a nice place for kayaking!).

Tell us something most people don’t know about you: I don’t like cinnamon and watermelon

Where we are most likely to find you in Lynn’s Kundalini Yoga: Providing gardening tips online to the community.  🙂

First time you tried Kundalini Yoga? I was 31 years old and I had just moved to Woodbridge. And I am still practicing!

Tell us your top tip to combat climate change: On top of my tip list is living car-free life, which saves an average of 2.04 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per person annually.

Anything else you’d like us to know?: I love cycling and swimming. And I would like to invite you to check out my site Gardening Dream. My goal is to share my knowledge and love of all things gardening with you.  🙂
